The CFCA V2 system is based on ICFRA F-Class rules, experience gained at international competitions, and the practical requirements of organizing competitions using ShotMarker electronic target systems. Its purpose is to provide equal conditions for all competitors while making efficient use of available technology and range infrastructure.
Two competitors shoot alternately on a single electronic target.
Both competitors shoot at the same electronic target and share a common ShotMarker display tablet.
One ShotMarker tablet is assigned to each target and positioned between both competitors so that it is equally accessible to each shooter.
Competitor Identification
Each competitor is assigned a unique identification number (ID).
ID numbers are assigned by the organizer before the start of the competition.
Within the ShotMarker system and on all display tablets, competitors are identified only by their assigned ID.
Competitors’ names are not displayed in the ShotMarker system or on display tablets during the competition.
One scoring relay consists of 2 sighters and 15 scoring shots for each competitor.
First Relay
The competitor on the right firing point starts shooting.
After his shot, the competitor on the left firing point shoots.
Competitors alternate shots throughout the entire relay.
Shooting sequence:
R – L – R – L – R – L ...
Second Relay
The competitor on the left firing point starts shooting.
After his shot, the competitor on the right firing point shoots.
Competitors alternate shots throughout the entire relay.
Shooting sequence:
L – R – L – R – L – R ...
This ensures that both competitors compete under equal conditions throughout the match.
Starting the first and second relays from opposite firing points eliminates any potential advantage or disadvantage caused by the shooting order.
Time Limit
The time limit for a pair of shooters is 25 minutes.
The time limit begins on the command of the Range Officer (RO).
During the scoring relay, shooters fire alternately, one shot at a time.
The maximum recommended time for a single shot is 45 seconds from the moment the shooter is called to fire.
If a shooter intentionally or repeatedly causes unreasonable delays that jeopardize compliance with the overall time limit, the Range Officer may issue a warning or declare the loss of a shot (0 points).
Compliance with the time limit is monitored by the Range Officer.
In the event of a protest or any dispute regarding compliance with the time limit, the ShotMarker system record may be used as evidence.
Sighters
Each scoring relay begins with two sighters.
Sighters are intended solely to confirm the rifle's zero after moving to the competition distance.
Sighters are not included in the score and may not be converted into scoring shots.
